A child is born and a new world emerges for him. It is the most exciting moment for those craving for a child.  People are born and later they die. There is an endless cycle of birth and death. But the golden moment of childhood is priceless and the most precious moment of one’s life. Life itself is precious and astounding journey. But the childhood memories never expires and remains mortal. These mortal remains bring immense joy when we recap about this wonderful moments. What is life is an amazing question and this has made my mind to involve myself into this journey with so many challenges, leaps and bounds and up’s  and down’s, which we have to cope with in our daily world. So, we can assume as life is a journey which we experience from birth to death. Childhood is a moment where we cherish and nurture our personality and groom ourselves to be a responsible citizens. It is a time when we learn the values of life and the core of our very existence that is, our personality and attitude. Further we carry those values and principles and take those values for their life forever. Adults are like children who play with money amidst all the tension, in order to gain worldly pleasures and materialistic comfort. A child is born as a prodigy and he has a lot many things to choose and nourish whatever he learns. Learning is eternal for a human being and a child starts to learn from the day he is in a cradle. Childhood is the age span ranging from birth to adolescence.
Children’s are curious. This curiosity paves the way for amazing innovation from the child’s mind. Children’s are creative. If we could nourish that creativity and the inner envisage we could see wonderful beautiful thoughts from the children’s mind. Children’s are amazing and it seems to be nice to see them when they start to play. It makes us feel happy and remember our childhood. Curiosity is a way that makes the child to practice its talent and do something differently. Children’s are curious and the more he is, the more he learns. Here, parents and guardians do not have to make their child curious instead the child’s intense desire to learn and not outward pressure that encourages the child to seek out new experiences and this invariably leads to greater understanding, knowledge and achieve greater heights in school, college and for his/her  life over a long term.  Every child is curious. They learn to understand as to how the world works and why do people do that way? This drives a child to have an understanding and know as to how the world works.  Every child follows whatever it sees which is interesting. It also responds to light music or harsh songs and it is able to recognize those songs which are repeated. As a parent or guardian they have to encourage the child’s own instinctive and natural interests. A lot of children’s learns through activities. They always want to imagine that can capture their attention. If a child likes to listen to music then it’s good to play it for him. Since children have an instinctive desire to explore, they are always fascinated with the unfamiliar things or pictures. We know that if a child is pointing to an object with his/her finger and if we give the babies those objects they are pointing they start to recognize that pointing fingers is like getting things and incase if we tell them the name of that particular object then the babies come to the conclusion that this is the way of getting answers by pointing fingers on that particular object.  Once the child has faith in a person it starts asking questions by communicating by pointing fingers to the person, who it has faith on. It wants to get information on what it is curious upon. Once they have faith in their parents or guardians they come to the conclusion that parents or guardians are the people with whom they can get this important information. Curiosity tickles the mind of the inquisitive mind of the child and the child begins to have a deeper information of the topic on which it was thinking. Once they get to know the information they get a sense of satisfaction and so in turn the information which the child possess feeds the curiosity. Curiosity can bring amazing turning point in a child’s life. More than 100 years ago, researchers have tried to study the child’s psychology.
Early childhood education is significant in one’s life. Whatever a child learns in this period takes this lesson for a long term goals or may till his death. Early childhood education is an education system theory which corresponds to the teaching of young children up till the age of 8. We can also term this as infant or toddler education which is a subset of early childhood education and this education is up to the age of 2. During this phase of childhood development synaptic growth takes place in the brain, especially in the frontal lobe. So this is a time the child is potent for physical development and helps the child to explore and try out new things. There is social emotional growth and development starts at this age. The emotions may include expressions, attachments and personality. Children’s learn a lot from birth to the age of three. During this stage any child learns quickly and rapidly compared to their rest of the lives. At the age from birth to three years, it is easier for information to be absorbed easily and due to this reason it is at this time the child needs vital nutrient for the brain to grow properly. During this phase children’s develop close connection with their peers. Therefore at this stage it is important for parents, guardians or caretakers to take optimum care when they are molding a child’s personality to a responsible citizens for the betterment of their later life.   Early child development is important and it is a system of policies and programmes for children’s from birth to eight years of age. We know that children’s develop in their own pace and potential but all the children’s progresses through an identifiable physical, emotional, cognitive growth and change. The primary motto of early childhood education is to improve the children’s cognitive, mental and emotional capability.  Hence the child becomes ready to go to school after an end to his early childhood education and therefore has positive characteristics and capable of tackling the challenges that persist them in the future.  At the toddler level the child starts to learn the language skills. The child starts to recognize the words spoken by the guardians or parents. The parents are the primary medium with whom the child communicates in-order to feed its necessities. All human beings starts to learn the language at this stage and so, the child is able to speak at his/her later stage of his/her life. As a child is born in this new world it begins to smile, track people and objects with eyes. After this 3 months is over the child starts to listen intently. It is able to respond with a laugh, put objects or toys in mouth etc. Approximately over 7 months of child’s age, a child begins to recollect simple events and recognize themselves. They start to explore meaningful words and understand own words and other common names. Further, it is able to find hidden objects and get shy and upset with strangers.  As a parent one can easily notice that the child starts to imitate other’s people’s actions and this happens after a year of a child’s birth. It is able to understand words, listen to stories, improve relationships etc.   After two years of the child’s birth it start enjoying new skills, learn new languages, and get control of its hands and fingers. From the third year of the child’s birth children starts developing long term memory, talk more, ask questions and like to play with friends and further improve its social skills.
Every child is special and this comes from inborn. Each and every human has unique set of skills. These skills have made us a modern human being. We would laugh at the old days, the troubled days, when we were just but a crude piece of craftsmanship. But today, the world is shrinking and modern communication has paved the way for easy communication. There are fewer barriers in communication and we have learnt various ways to communicate. In the olden days a child rarely had an opportunity to get into pre-school education. But today most of the schools have pre-school education and early childhood education. Hence today’s children can have a wonderful opportunity to nourish themselves for the betterment of their lives.
